Coaching with Sherri
“Coaching with Sherri” has been a long journey of education combined with my own journey of healing. I offer assistance through one-on-one coaching/mentoring sessions, in addition to group courses.
“Unbound and Free” is a non-profit partnership ministry to assist women through scholarship support for a variety of needs ~~ see “support our mission” below!
These offerings are designed to help us heal from unresolved pain, a life crisis or trauma that have placed us in bondage for years. There is freedom in Christ and I want to come alongside you to unravel the pain and connect you to Jehovah-Rapha – the God who heals.
The Story
John 11: 1-44
When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He commanded him to come forth. As Lazarus stumbled from the grave, Jesus makes sure we know his feet and hands are still bound, his face and body still covered in burial strips. Lazarus is breathing and moving, but he is doing so still bound by signs of death.
But then, what does Jesus say? He looks to the crowd and instructs them: “Now you unbind him.” Jesus who brought a dead man back to life, doesn’t complete the task. Instead, He instructs those around Lazarus to “unbind him.”
This is where it gets tricky for us. We all want the “miracle” of healing — the storyline of “being raised from the dead” — but most of us don’t want the difficult and messy parts that go with “unbinding.” This is as hard for the person needing the help as it is for the people wanting to honor the instructions of Jesus.
Coaching with Sherri @Unbound and Free is a place where we embrace both parts of this command. We aspire to see people running and living free in Jesus. To witness the transformation of those who are helping heal and those receiving the healing.
You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace for it is trusting in you.

The History
This is a ministry born from my own journey of healing and transformation. Those instructions Jesus gave to the crowd for Lazarus are the very same message He laid on my heart years ago. But returning from the mission field in 2019 – with both my marriage and ministry completely unraveling – left me with a crisis of faith. Walk away completely from the call I knew God had put on my life, or step deeply into healing and be willing to share and teach that healing to others.
As you may have picked up, I’ve used the word “we” throughout sharing the purpose of this ministry, and that is on purpose. As God and I have wrestled with my strong and independent nature, I have been reminded several times that my “self-sufficiency” has at times served me well, but also, just as many times, been my downfall. Making the choice to “walk through” the pain instead of around or over it, began a process that opened my heart to saying “yes” once again to where God is leading, and inviting you and others into this journey. And I am inviting you to be a part of this vision of “strengthening others for service together”. Jesus instructed “the crowd” to unbind Lazarus. It then becomes a choice we get to decide.
